The Photoshoot.
Editing Process.
Time.
I charge $275 for 45 minute sessions and $200 for mini sessions (on select days/times-usually in the spring/fall). Senior Sessions are for one hour and I charge $300. Price is only based upon the length of the session (there is no other cost to you). That price includes time shooting your session, the hours I spend editing, my camera equipment, and the cost of my editing software and photo storage. If I need to drive more than 45 minutes to the location, I may add a distance fee.
Most clients choose to pay me through Venmo or PayPal, but I also accept cash and check. Payment is due on the day of the shoot.
On the day of your session, we'll meet up at our agreed time and place. I’m sensitive to all personalities, and whether you're comfortable in front of a camera or not, I'll guide you throughout our time together.
Posed photos can look awkward or goofy if there's not enough attention to detail by the photographer. All you have to do is trust me and you'll look natural and at ease in all your photos. Part of my job is to help you feel comfortable in front of a camera, so we will work together to find poses that feel like you (and get some candid shots too, of course).
After your session, I'll send you a password-protected link to your digital files, all of which will be yours to download and share. Depending on my workload, it usually takes me about 1-2 weeks to finish, sometimes sooner.
If you share photos on social media, I do ask that you tag @aliciasuttonphotography I rely primarily on word-of-mouth advertising to grow my business, so tagging my account is super helpful and appreciated!
The most flattering light of the day happens during the two golden hours: right before sunset and right after sunrise. That said, timing depends on the time of year, but I tend to do most of my shoots in the evening. Of course, if you have an event at a different time of day, let me know and we can certainly make that work.
